How to Connect Your ERP or Payroll System to NSSA and ZIMRA

NSSA and ZIMRA TaRMS have no public filing API for third-party software. Building and maintaining your own filing integration for every client is slow and fragile. YoBridge gives you one API for all of it.

How it works

1. Create an API key in the YoBridge Developer area. Test keys start with yb_test_, live keys with yb_live_. Keys can be restricted to specific companies, capabilities and IP addresses, and the secret is shown only once.
2. Call a capability — for example nssa.p4.upload or zimra.tarms.vat.submit — with a POST to /api/v1/companies/{company_id}/capabilities/{capability_key}/transactions, your key as a bearer token, and an Idempotency-Key header.
3. Get 202 Accepted immediately, with a transaction you can poll.
4. Receive a webhook when the transaction completes, fails or needs an OTP.

Built for production

• Idempotency — repeat the same key and request and you get the original transaction; reuse a key with a different request and you get HTTP 409. Your retries can never double-file.
• Signed webhooks — HMAC-SHA256 signatures, timestamps, event and delivery IDs, retries with backoff, delivery history and manual replay.
• OTP signals — submit a portal OTP through the API, or let the user answer in the YoBridge app.
• Artifacts — download receipts, statements and certificates through signed URLs.
• Payroll ingestion — push finalised payroll earnings straight into the PAYE and NSSA engines.
• OpenAPI — a full specification for generating clients.

Compliance note
When your software files on a client's behalf, the client is still the taxpayer or employer of record. Keep client approval and submission evidence for every filing — YoBridge stores both with each transaction.
